Vonage is not having a very good week. Just after a jury sided with Sprint over Vonage in a patent dispute, the appeals court has affirmed the injunction against Vonage from the similar Verizon patent case that was decided earlier this year.

While this decision is deeply disturbing it's not particularly surprising, it seems obvious that big-telco is going to eliminate competition whenever possible in order to maintain their monopoly and with our horribly flawed Patent system it was just a matter of time until Vonage bit the dust.
