My Firefox Extensions

I suppose everyone has their own set of Firefox extensions that they like to use, I wanted to share mine with you and hopefully introduce you into something that you didn't know about before you read this post.

(I should also mention that all of these plugins are 100% completely free if there was any doubt)

Here's my list:

Colorful Tabs - Simply put, I like the way it looks.  The world could use more color.

CuteMenus2 - Menu's should have icons.

Addblock Plus - Way too many Ads on the Internet these days.  You'll notice that I recently posted about how to exclude Google Adsense ads from being blocked by this tool, this isn't just because this site uses google ads.  Rather this site uses Google Adsense because they are unobtrusive and most of the time they actually add something to the content.

Download Statusbar - I don't like not being able to see the status of my downloads and browse the web at the same time, this is a handy tool, although it doesn't work with "Down Them All" downloads.

Encrypt This - An easy to use Text Encryption tool that I use quite often.

SwitchProxy Tool - A must have if you have use proxy's to browse the web, you make a list of proxy's and can choose between any of them or none easily.

FireFTP - A full blown FTP client built right into Firefox !  Very convenient

DownThemAll - A (mostly) fully developed download manager for Firefox.  It supports multiple download streams to speed up downloads, download queuing, and most other features you would look for in a download manager.  On extremely rare occasions I have have noticed a bug or two, but overall it's a great piece of software.

All-in-one Search button - This allows you to highlight the results from a find query (CTRL + F) on a web page in a similar manner to how Safari does it.

Remember Mismatched Domains - A must have if you regularly use SSL encrypted websites that use self-signed certificates.

SeoQuake Firefox Extension.

Excellent list! For webmasters, Firebug and SeoQuake would be a couple of really great additions. Firebug, for example, helped me troubleshoot which CSS was configuring my Advanced Forum on Drupal - so I could figure out a problem. SeoQuake gives me a quick rundown on incoming/outgoing links, PR, and other nifty bits of data on a website I'm browsing.
